Andrea and Michael's wedding day started off like a dream, with the Tampa Marriott Water Street serving as the perfect backdrop for getting ready photos. A Stewart Photo and Video captured some beautiful shots of the couple, their family, and friends as they prepared for the big day ahead. Little did they know, their wedding would soon take a turn.
As the group was finishing up their getting ready photos, news arrived that the power had gone out at The Florida Aquarium, the venue for the ceremony and reception, and in the surrounding Channelside area. Panic set in as the couple and their families tried to figure out what to do next. But fortunately, Amy and Richard from A Stewart Photo and Video were there to provide emotional support and to help adapt to the changes that were occurring.
Despite the unexpected circumstances, the photographers managed to capture some truly amazing photos of the couple, their families, and the wedding party. They went above and beyond just taking pictures, helping to solve other power and lighting issues and making sure that the bride's parents were comfortable and at ease for some fantastic family photos.
As the ceremony approached, it became clear that the power wasn't coming back on anytime soon. The couple and their guests were forced to move the ceremony outside to the TECO Deck, with the cocktail hour and reception taking place in the Cafe Ray Seating Area. But despite the change of plans, the amazing aquarium staff and catering staff stepped up to the challenge. The catering staff managed to create a delicious wedding feast for all to enjoy, using just campfire grills to cook up a storm. While the aquarium staff did everything in their power to move things around and make things right. They were able to let the couple walk around inside for a few beautiful photos and even brought out the penguins for some amazing photo ops with the newlyweds.
And let's not forget to mention the amazing coordinator, Natalia from Days Remembered by ND, who played a crucial role in making sure the wedding day went as smoothly as possible despite the unexpected power outage. She remained calm and collected in the face of adversity, working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every detail was taken care of.
Throughout the entire day, everyone involved with the wedding proved to be caring and compassionate individuals who were there to support the couple and their families. The photographers went above and beyond to capture every moment of the day, from the excitement of getting ready to the joy of the ceremony and reception. Thanks to their hard work and dedication, Andrea and Michael have beautiful photos and memories that they will treasure for a lifetime.
