What areas do you cover? And Is there a travel fee?

A.Our "home" town is Tampa, Fl but we travel all over Florida, the USA and other Countries to capture amazing photos and video for weddings and events. With gas prices increasing and other expenses also increasing all travel fee's will be based on the event or photo sessions location. If your Wedding will be in the Tampa Bay Area you get free travel. If your wedding is outside Tampa Bay then there will be a travel fee added on. If it is long distance or out of state, we charge for a gas stipend, an inexpensive car rental and hotel room. If we have to fly to your destination wedding, then we charge for round trip tickets for both employees, a car rental and a hotel room.

Are you Licensed and do you have Insurance?

A.Yes, we are fully insured and licensed. Many venues we work at require the photographer and videographer to have Liability Insurance. If needed, we can provide proof of insurance upon request.

What is a deposit and why do I need to pay it when booking?

A.The deposit is a payment that's 30% of your total that is paid upfront when you sign your contract. The deposit payment reserves your wedding date and times with our company. All deposit payments and deposit portions of full payments are non-refundable.

What is your Photography Style and Approach?

A.We have a mixture of styles when it comes to photography. We will capture all the beautiful details and all the love. We like to stay as True to Life with the colors as possible while throwing in some fun Artistic and Romantic components. We will capture a mixture of candid & posed shots throughout the day! Without disturbing (or as little as possible), we move around to get the best shots! We love natural light & try to emphasize that by using as little flash as possible, until necessary. But we definitely have no problems working in the lowest of lighting conditions. We try to capture as many amazing shots as possible while still allowing you to enjoy your day without cameras in your face the whole time.

We need help with our timeline. Can you help us build one?

A.Yes, we can certainly help you build a timeline. We have worked many weddings and we can recommend starting times and let know how long different parts of the day may take, especially the photo and video parts.

What is a Sneak Peek and how does it work?

A.Wedding Photography: We will go through and pick out 5 to 10 of our favorite photos from your wedding day for you to have edited no later than 1 week after your wedding.

Wedding Videography: We will create a short 30sec to 1min video from some of the best moments of your wedding day for you to have edited no later than 1 week after your wedding.

How many Finished Photos will I get?

A.For Weddings: You will receive all the best photos from your wedding. We remove all the duplicates and blurry photos, which works out to be around 75 edited photos per hour. We try to provide amazing quality while being super fast. You will also receive all your finished photos with in 30 days after your wedding.

For All Other Packages: You will receive all the best photos from your photo session. This number may range from 25 finished photos to 50 finished photos.

Will I have Quality 2nd photographers and 2nd Videographers?

A.Yes! We have personally worked with each and every 2nd photographer and videographer we bring out. They are trained professionals with plenty of experience and most normally work lead on their own.

How long will it take for me to get my edited wedding photos and video?

A.We try to be as quick as we can while still giving amazing quality. You will receive an email with a link to your Wedding Photo Gallery containing a sneak peak of your wedding photos shortly after your wedding to view & download (normally 2 to 4 days after wedding). You will receive all the rest of your photos and videos about 30 days after your wedding in the same Wedding Photo Gallery.

How long will my Photo Gallery be up to view and download from?

A.All Photo Galleries are available for 1 year after your wedding or photo session. You will get an email 30 days before your gallery expires letting you know to download your photos. If you would like to keep your photos safe with us we offer gallery subscriptions which are $25 monthly or $250 yearly. This subscription keeps your gallery live and online where you can access it anytime. If your gallery expires and you did not download your photos and we have to re-upload your photos there is a $100 Re-Upload Fee.

Can we purchase prints, photo books and albums from you?

A.Yes and we have AMAZING quality!!! We have a full service print store that is connected directly to your online gallery. We have everything from metal prints, wooden prints, different wall art, photo books plus so much more.

How do your print credits work?

A.Once you have received your finished/edited photo gallery you will want to purchase prints. You will get a gift card code. After you have added all the prints, books, albums and thank you cards you would like to purchase, at check out you will enter your gift card code and your print credit amount will come off your total.

How many hours of coverage do you offer?

A.We offer 1.5hr Elopement Packages, 4hrs to 12hrs Wedding Coverage, plus Multi-Day Coverage.
We also offer 2hr to 12hr Event Packages. All hours must be used in a consecutive order.

My venue is very dark. How does your team handle these situations and can I see samples?

A.Yes, you can absolutely see samples. We have shot in the darkest of dark chapels, aquariums and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures. Some chapels do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures.

What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?

A.We understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding. We never leave before the contracted time, and moreover, we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the hourly rate specified on your contract and you will be billed the day after your wedding.

What forms of payment do you accept?

A.We accept payments from all major Credit and Debit Cards along with Google Pay. There is tax that will be added to all totals.

What happens if I don't need an Engagement Session?

A.That is not a problem. You have a couple of options.
Option 1) If Before Booking: We can take it out of your package and you save a little money on your total.
Option 2) If After Booking: You can use it with in 2 years of signing your contract. Use it for maternity photos, anniversary photos or family photos. It's your session to use as you please.

Can we Reschedule or Cancel our booking? (COVID-19 included)

A.Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your booking at any time.
RESERVATION, POSTPONE & CANCELLATION POLICY:
A signed contract and deposit payment are required to reserve the dates and times of the EVENT(S). If the EVENT(S) are rescheduled or postponed we just swap everything to the new date (as long as A STEWART PHOTO & VIDEO has it available). If the EVENT is cancelled the retainer fee stays non-refundable and shall be liquidated to A STEWART PHOTO & VIDEO. If the CLIENT cancels at least 60 days before their scheduled event, any additional money paid will be fully refunded within 90 days of cancellation. If the CLIENT cancels within 60 days of their scheduled event, any additional money paid towards the balance becomes nonrefundable.

I have downtime between events on my wedding day. Will I be charged for that downtime?

A.For a variety of reasons, we have to charge for the time in between events. The fact is, we’re never truly resting during the day, whether we’re backing up images and video, setting up for the second venue, traveling to the second location, taking venue shots, or making up for lost photo and video time because of unforeseen wedding day delays. In many cases, we use that “downtime” to take you and your significant other out for a photo and video session or more family and guests portraits. If there is a multi-hour time gap between ceremony and cocktail just let us know and we will charge a discounted rate for the gap hours.

Do you back up your photo & video files?

A.Yes, we not only back up all our files on external hard drives but we also have an online data base where all the edited photos and video get stored.

How far in advance should we book you?

A.Our calendar is filling up quicker and quicker every year so I do recommend booking ASAP. Any where from 8 months to 18 months in advance is perfect. If you are planning for a shorter time frame, please message us now to check our availability!
