And my name is Richard!
Every great love story has a beginning, and for us, it started long before we even realized it. We both graduated from Clearwater High School in 2006. We passed each other in the halls, shared classrooms, and probably even appeared on the same yearbook pages. Back then, we were just two people living parallel lives, unaware that our futures were already intertwined.
It wasnβt until five years later that fate stepped in.
In 2011, we ran into each other at a friendβs hookah lounge, and sparks flew right away. We talked, we laughed, and something just clicked. From April 20th, 2011, weβve been inseparable ever since.
At the time, we were both following our own creative paths. Amy had studied photography in college and was starting to capture local events and portraits. Richard had launched his own audio studio right out of high school, building his passion for music, sound, and storytelling. When we reconnected, our worlds came together naturally. Amy started photographing Richard's band, and he began filming video projects.
What started as band sessions quickly grew into something so much more.
Amy began second shooting weddings with another photographer and completely fell in love with capturing love stories. In 2015, she took a leap of faith and went full-time, pouring her heart into every image she delivered. As the demand for both photography and videography grew, Richard officially joined her in 2018 as a full-time videographer, bringing his technical experience and creative vision to our growing team. That same year, on April 20th, 2018, we said βI doβ and began our greatest adventure yet, marriage. Having planned our own wedding, we know exactly what you are going through, the excitement, the nerves, and all the little details that make the day so special. It is one of the many reasons we pour so much care into every coupleβs story, because we have been right where you are.
Together, weβve built A Stewart Photo and Video, a business rooted in love, creativity, and connection. Based in Tampa, Florida, and serving all of Florida and beyond, weβve captured over 500 weddings, countless family sessions, and special moments for hundreds of couples.

Our journey, from high school classmates to a husband and wife creative team, is living proof that some love stories are written long before the first kiss. Weβve been exactly where you are, filled with excitement and anticipation for one of the most meaningful days of our lives.
