On Sunday, March 5th, 2023, the Tampa Federation Garden Clubs was the stunning venue for Ilena Ruggeri and Julie Coutu's beautiful wedding. The garden setting provided the perfect backdrop for their special day, and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. With around 95 guests in attendance, the celebration was a joyous occasion, filled with love, laughter, and happy tears.

The day began with prelude music playing as guests started to arrive. As the clock hit 1:00pm the ceremony began as the officiant led the way, followed by the bridespeople and groomspeople and then the flower girl. Finally, Ilena and Julie made their grand entrance, looking absolutely stunning in their wedding attire.

The ceremony was a beautiful celebration of their love for one another. It was a heartwarming moment to see the two brides exchanging their vows and rings, surrounded by the people who love them the most. As the ceremony came to a close, the newlyweds walked back down the aisle hand in hand, with beaming smiles on their faces.

After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a cocktail hour with drinks and appetizers. The conservatory area provided a comfortable space for guests to mingle and enjoy the delicious food and drink. The guests took their seats inside the garden club for the reception, and the couple was introduced as The Byrds. They shared their first dance together, which was a truly magical moment.

The guests were then served a delicious lunch, followed by toasts from their loved ones. The speeches were filled with kind words and touching stories, and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. The couple then cut their wedding cake and shared it with their guests.

The rest of the event was spent dancing and celebrating the newlyweds. The DJ, Jamie Dammers, kept the party going with a playlist that got everyone on their feet.
