Hey there! We’re Amy and Richard, the husband and wife team behind A Stewart Photo & Video.
We’ve always believed that the best love stories are the ones that happen when you least expect them, and ours is one of those stories that feels like it was meant to be.
We both graduated from Clearwater High School in 2006. We passed each other in the halls, shared classes, and probably ended up on the same yearbook pages without realizing it. A few years later, fate decided to step in. In 2011, we ran into each other at a friend’s hookah lounge, started talking, and immediately clicked. One week later we moved in together, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
At that time, Amy was studying photography and starting to shoot local events and portraits, while Richard was running his own audio studio and producing projects for brands like Adidas, Under Armour, and a TV show called The Gospel Voice. Our creative worlds blended almost instantly. Amy began photographing Richard’s band, and Richard started filming her sessions.
What started as small collaborations grew into something much bigger. In 2011, Amy officially launched A Stewart Photo and Video. By 2015, she had gone full time, and Richard continued building his expertise in audio and video production. In 2018, after seven amazing years together, we got married on April 20th and made it official. A few years later, in 2021, Richard joined full time, bringing his technical background and creative eye to the business.
Since then, we’ve captured more than 500 weddings and events and over 200 family sessions all across Florida and beyond. We’ve built this dream together, side by side, doing what we love most. From photographing emotional wedding days and dreamy golden hour engagement sessions to creating cinematic highlight films that let couples relive every laugh and tear, we pour our hearts into every project. Whether we’re in a sunny garden or a glowing ballroom, our goal is always to make your experience fun, relaxed, and completely you.
When we’re not out photographing or filming, you’ll find us at home editing with our two “office managers,” Miss Kitty and Munchie. They take their jobs very seriously, keeping close watch over every camera bag, snack, and phone call, and reminding us when it’s time to take a break for cuddles. We also love playing video games together, watching new shows, and spending time in our garden surrounded by fresh herbs and veggies. We’re happiest when we’re home together, recharging and creating the life we love.

Say hello to Miss Kitty and Munchie, our official office managers and full-time supervisors.
Miss Kitty takes her job very seriously. Anytime we’re on the phone, she has to come over and make sure the conversation is going the right way. She’s the kitty who sits on everything important, inspects every camera bag like she’s running a full security check, and expects unlimited cuddles for all her hard work.
Munchie is our calm observer and loyal snack kitty. He watches everything we do like a quiet little manager, especially when food is nearby. He’s the ultimate snack supervisor and definitely takes his role as taste tester to heart.
They might nap through meetings, photobomb behind-the-scenes shots, and ignore most of our deadlines, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Most days, you’ll find them curled up beside us while we edit, peeking into gear bags, or silently judging our snack choices. Our office wouldn’t be the same without them, and honestly, we’re pretty sure they know it.
A Stewart Photo and Video is our creative home and the heart of everything we love to do. We are a licensed and insured photography and videography team based in Tampa, Florida, capturing weddings and events across the state and beyond. Since launching in 2011, we’ve had the absolute joy of photographing and filming more than 500 weddings/events and hundreds of photo sessions for clients who mean the world to us.
